Podcasting is a way to 'subscribe' to our sermons and have them delivered to your personal computer.
As a subscriber to our 'Sermons from Polegate' podcast you will automatically receive the latest sermons as they appear on our website.
The sermons can then easily be transferred to an mp3 player (iPod or similar) or played on your computer.
To subscribe you will need an internet connection and a piece of podcast software which is usually available free of charge.
This software can check our website for new sermons and automatically download them to your player.
There are three steps involved in setting up your personal computer to receive podcasts.
You have to download a piece of software which will search the web to find the latest version of the files you want, for example, the next sermon from our website.
We recommend either iTunes or Juice either of which is available as a free download.
Download the version of your chosen software for your system and follow the installation instructions.
Once you have the software you need to point it to 'Sermons from Polegate' to deliver the file each times a new sermon is added.
When a new sermon becomes available your software will automatically download it. On completion you can listen to the mp3 on your pc or transfer it to your portable player to listen to later.
The software will automatically download any subsequent sermons as soon as they become available.
